Yes, it’s very hollow but even that doesn’t last long. After the first day or two, our critics just start in with how we’re somehow “enablers” because the guy said he was an incel or fit their stereotype of one. There’s no reflection or real remorse about the event from them, it’s just used as an excuse to pile on us much like a political party uses a country’s financial woes to attack a minority group.
