It is well known that, prior to the modern sciences studied today, ancient sages were schooled in hermeticism, esotericism, and occultism.
The transition from alchemy to modern chemistry serves as an example.

I recall reading in a book on the occult that there is a profound connection between mathematics and the occult sciences.
This holds true for any enlightened student; from numerology and gematria to astrology, Kabbalah, and the Tarot, mathematics is both present and essential.

I believe that learning mathematics is the next step for any student of the occult who has already mastered the fundamentals of the occult sciences.
Mathematics is fundamental to the doctrine of the seven liberal arts, and a basic knowledge of the subject was required for admission to the elite Greek schools of thought prior to the time of Christ.

Perhaps I will do so one day; perhaps I will decide to study mathematics and further train my mind at some point in the future.

If you look deep enough you would find geometry involved in all places of worship for all the religions, like stongehenge, their builders applied the pythagorean geometry 2000 years before pythagoras was even born.

Based

"Sacred geometry" exists

I remember the Platonic solids, and how cathedrals are built in such a way as to evoke a specific atmosphere and acoustics...
the pyramids aligned with the stars, etc.

It is essential for rising above the normie-npc masses

Math is actually a very interesting subject of study but you need to have an above average IQ to fully understand it in depth

Well more than above average, and even then you wont fully reach the depth of it.

Yeah, idk if you've seen the edit that inspector norf made back in 2022 where he gives a lot of examples of geometry applied in the modern world and antiquiety.

I remember being good at Pythagorean theorem in 8th grade and then completely forgetting it afterwards

Euclidean geometry is not very relevant to modern mathematics.
