JJK season 3 is ass

JJK s3 has been ass so far. Just meaningless fights. Only good thing about it is the Zenin massacre which still felt rushed and out of nowhere. Higuruma got way too overhyped by the fanbase, he is a pretty basic character with wayyyyy too much exposition, though I liked him, as a judge, fighting on behalf of Yuji's innocence since he has internalized guilt from everything that happened in Shibuya. JJK usually likes subtext, so they shouldn't have given us that much inner monologue from Higuruma.

People would say s1 and s2 were meaningless fights, but that is so far from the truth, every single arc had great character moments. I know this current arc isn't over yet, but man there has been 0 pay off so far, and the setting is so cool it's like a battle royale. No stretch of episodes from s1 or s2 has been as bad as this season has been. thus far.

I've been going around twitter ragebaiting people by calling JJK better than vinland saga, but now I can't even keep that up.

JJK is the most overrated new gen, every character is a cheap copy of another anime, i could make a whole list and honestly its not even entertaining to watch. Id rather watch all 8 seasons of BNHA than JJK

I thought vinland was a bit preachy and Thorfinn was too linear but Askeladd was amazing. I unironically preferred the first 2 seasons of jjk to the first 2 of vinland, there was more subtext. But I'll take vinlands philosophy slop over whatever jjk is right now, Yuji is the only character that is active in the story who I somewhat care about and he's getting repetitive too. Hope it gets better when Gojo comes back. (Tbf I really need a rewatch of vinland saga)
