I think Jared Leto hits that sweet spot where he's not so masculine that he scares off young girls, but not so feminine that he looks weak. Also you can't discount that he spends a lot of time grooming himself to looks as good as possible; he probably also slathers on some make-up to look younger as well.

Here's my theory: he got famous because he's attractive, and now because he is famous women find him even more attractive.

No, women have historically been "attracted" to "masculinity" because they needed men to protect them and provide resources. They no longer need those things, because society provides them. They no longer have to trade their sex for them. Therefore they can actually be honest about their pure physical desires. Which are face, face + face. "Thick asses" and "bulbous breasts" signify fertility. That's why you're attracted to them. Height is obviously a desirable trait, but it's secondary, and so long as you meet a minimum threshold, nobody cares. "Masculinity" = status. Today, the ultimate status is being attractive, which = having a great face. Because women don't care about or need men's resources or protection anymore, directly. Fame, wealth, etc are all secondary. And they don't make a woman physically attracted to a man. Certainly wealth doesn't.
