Did it on the hardest difficulty (Serious). As a fan of the series i had fun i guess, but it's objectively a very mediocre game. It's clear the devs wanted to create a far more ambitious game than this, but couldn't and were forced to scale everything down and remove a bunch of shit they had originally planned to include. This is especially evident in the "open world" level Breakfast in France, which is huge but feels completely empty with jackshit to do in it.

Apparently the Siberian Madness stand-alone expansion thingy is better, but i want to play other stuff first before trying it out.

The soundtrack slaps btw:

This level is apparently several hundred times (!!!) larger than Skyrim btw. Even some of the linear levels like the first Pompeii one are several times larger than Skyrim for some reason.

Which Serious Sam is best?

I only played first & second encounter and 2

I'm playing the first one on normal difficulty right now.

Hard Game. Has some really fun moments though.

It's nice to know that someone appreciates such an underrated franchise, and yes, the fourth game left a lot to be desired.
I remember playing the first and second encounter on an Xbox 360 (I'm Mexican, in that country having an Xbox is biological law) And I found the autistic confrontations that the LOL games had hilarious, it was a delight to discover locations and kill Martians to be able to read their descriptions.

Which enemy did you hate the most? In my case, the Kamikazes and the Bull Men.

The Kleers. One or two are manageable, but they're a massive pain in the ass in larger groups

games nvr been very good.... put 5,000 enemy on the screen yelling n shit n repeat it 500x no im good

They suck! Takes 2 super shotgun rounds to drop one. Annoying in groups!
Yeah. That said they're iconic, it wouldn't be a Serious Sam game without them. They were even in Serious Sam 2, which had a mostly completely original enemy roster.

Congrats brocelius!

Is it just me, or is aiming on console really crappy?

Congratulations
