Meanwhile Indies are mostly obscure and have a culture of moralfagging around them so no one cares to crack them and their morality doesnt dare them to crack either so they end up being lost media after they get delisted or the developer decides to troon out and stop development.

Most games do get cracked by scene groups and in fact they are only cracking non denuvo games because denuvo is so hard to crack. But the problem with denuvo is that piracy is the only real way of actually owning your games on pc (except maybe buying on gog and backing up the installers) and a lot of denuvo games you can't pirate.
