It seems that God told me to FUCK OFF whenever I prayed for a wife/girlfriend

I prayed to God to help me find a wife but it never happened. I used to ask God to send a nice girl into my life but the Lord Almighty refused. It seems that every time I prayed to God to help me find a wife God said FUCK OFF to me. Although I'm a Christian I often wonder why people turn to satanism.

If God never answers your prayers, maybe there's a rational explanation for this

Well, there's a known difference between magic, as well as a bunch primitive religions, and Christianity. Basically, you can't make deals with God. There's no trade, no one is able to sacrifice something to God in exchange of something else.

What you said is closer to what was generally considered magic as a scientific field (yeah, early Modern era was wild for science). If I remember correctly, even Francis Bacon defined magic as a science of using supernatural forces in order to get practical results.

Because God isn’t going to force or manipulate a woman into loving you. God gave humanity free will, which means you can choose — and she can choose.

Because of free will, I believe God doesn't interfere directly in situations like relationships. By that, I mean He’s not going to magically make a 10/10 woman fall madly in love with you.

It’s like praying for your legs to grow back after losing them in a car accident — it’s just not going to happen, bro.

Wrong bro.

“Do any bible characters make deals with god?”

Yes, several characters in the Bible appear to make deals or engage in negotiations with God, although the nature and implications of these interactions vary. Examples include Jacob wrestling with God, Hannah's vow for a son, and Jephthah's vow to sacrifice the first person he saw.

Here's a closer look at some examples:
  • Jacob:
In Genesis 32, Jacob wrestles with a man (identified as an angel or God) all night and refuses to let go until he receives a blessing. This can be interpreted as a form of negotiation or a struggle for divine favor.

  • Hannah:
In 1 Samuel 1, Hannah promises to dedicate her son to God's service if she is granted a child. This is a vow, a type of agreement where she offers something in exchange for a divine favor.

  • Jephthah:
In Judges 11, Jephthah makes a vow to sacrifice the first person to greet him upon his return from battle if God grants him victory over the Ammonites. This leads to the tragic sacrifice of his daughter.

  • Abraham:
In Genesis 18, Abraham engages in a form of negotiation with God, pleading for the righteous in Sodom to be spared from destruction.
While these examples show characters interacting with God in ways that appear transactional, some interpretations highlight that God's grace and favor are not earned through bartering but through relationship. The Bible also emphasizes that God's ways are higher than our ways, and his promises are not always fulfilled in the way we might expect.
