can't remember entire detail of what happened just parts of it along with the feelings of physical pain, humiliation, emotional pain
negative mood overall

Last time I talked about my cptsd from my dad, the 'counselor' dove into me how I was an ungrateful child and it wasn't really cptsd I was over dramaticizing BC he never beat me. Someone way bigger that you fully depend on gets in your face and screams at you every day, your body can't distinguish between that and actual violence. I have the same symptoms as a kid who was beat, along with the psychological of 'you're a useless and stupid child'.
