Is “looking older” a good characteristic?

While I was wagecucking for 12 hours today I was wondering if all of the remarks I’ve gotten from customers (in the past and from today), who are surprised that I, a 17 year old, cant scan their tobacco products or alcohol, means I’m more or. It has even gotten to the point where customers have made fun of my normie coworker (who has a gf) for scanning for me because he’s shorter and, I guess, younger looking than me.
To provide context: I’m 180cm, 72kg skinnyfat framelet, my eyes make my face look asymmetrical, and my face is free of acne but visually wizened (bags under eyes, scars).
I think all these comments are synonyms for looking ugly and old, not mature and masculine.

It really depends on your age tbh. If you look 40 at 18 its over but if look older as a teen it can be good. Same with looking younger if you look 12 and you are 25 that sucks but if you look 25 at 50 thats great.

True. “The wall” is cope. Only megachads retain their good looks into their 30’s, 40’s, 50’s. I know some 30, 40 something year old soyboys who were Chad looking in their twenties.
