Is it me or was One piece more fun to watch before the time skip

Like it's been a while since I watched one piece but i remember it being More of an adventure but after the time skip It feels like the pacing has gone to shit and every episode feels like 70% filler like before each island or new area they went to felt different but now It feels kind of repetitive

Usopp left now I can barely get myself to watch it
