Discussion iOS vs Android

Let’s have this discussion again. I think iOS is designed for femoids and tech illiterates. That said Android has issues with privacy and update-support. I’m using both, and the overall the openess and customization of Android just mogs iOS so hard. With Android you can install alternative distros like LineageOS if you dislike stock Android whereas iOS forces you to use iOS only and nothing else.

I prefer android because their phones are more unique. Every time you buy an apple phone it's like you're buying the exact same phone but with one lame extra feature.

I own an Iphone and tbh I regret buying it, they’re (still) slowing it down on purpose by each new update (even if you don’t download it). Ads are forced in applications such as Youtube, Facebook etc and you can’t do shit about them. Shows how retarded today’s society is considering that Apple is worth over 1 trilion dollars. Android beats iOS on every single level, even on looks tbh.

iPhones are okay compared to other Apple products like MacBooks, imagine paying well over 1000$ for 8 gigs of ram, a shitty shitty processor, integrated graphics and a chassis that couldn’t sustain Boost frequency of the processor for 2 seconds without overheating. How to notice an Apple fanboy - he says “it just works”, he doesn’t care whats inside, if he can browse social media and watch Youtube.

I remember reading articles about how because android phones are cheaper than iOS, the cheaper cost of androids is made up for by the increased advertisement and data collection on android phones by Google compared to iOS.

Not proficient enough to root a phone so it doesn't matter to me tbh
And ofc not being a normie I don't use my phone a lot so having an iOS versus android phone isn't really a concern to me.

I'll admit iOS has a more aesthetic default design and flashy screen and icons. But maybe that's because it's the standard.

Even if I got the newest iPhone for free, I'd sell it and keep my old Android at this point because I'm so used to it.
