IDK about others but I find aviation crashes (and the investigations that follow) hugely fascinating. I can watch this shit for hours. Big aircraft are awesome things. How capable most of the people involved in everything around aircraft are, is awesome.
In a lot of these incidents the crew flying the plane are giga skilled, giga professional and they do everything correctly, only to get fucked up by some technical equipment failure nobody has seen or dreamed of before. Or fucked over by somebody else on the ground doing their job poorly before they even took of.
But that's not what this is... these incompetent turkroaches just rode the autopilot into the ground through sheer incompetence.
Fortunately it was a cargo plane so there were no passengers.
Unfortunately they landed on a village instead of the runway so they killed 35 people on the ground.
