Experiment In your country, do shops give you money if you return cans/bottles?

In Finland, all cans and bottles have a sign that says how much you will get.
Smaller cans (0,33 liters) give you 0,15€
Small glass bottles give you 0,10€
Small plastic bottles give you 0,20€
Large plastic bottles give you 0,40€

I often see poor people gathering bottles that others have thrown away as trash. I sometimes dumpster dive to find bottles if I am low on cash
