Discussion In the advent of famine how would you live?

I imagine there would be huge riots and raids of food reserves and then finally the imposition of martial law. Most plants in the forest would probably be consumed, followed by pigeons in the overcrowded cities, maybe even rats and squirrels as well. Pets would be eaten and once all of those have been depleted, even people might be eaten. Frogs and fish are usually everywhere but they are only seasonal.

I always have a supply of food, mostly about 5 boxes of pasta, canned meat, and a few boxes of pea and buckwheat porridge, so I'd just lock myself in and wait for most of them to eat or kill each other.
