Make sure you're using Cloudflare and that you're implementing it properly (ex: direct IP access blocked).
Another thing is opsec. You need to make sure it can't be traced back to you.
Register the domain name and buy the vps with tor and bitcoin. Never put your real info. Access the host (http, ssh, sftp, etc) only using tor. It's a probably overkill opsec for something like this (this level of opsec is meant for something like cybercrime), but it doesn't hurt to be safe.
