Before we discovered reality for what it is, what was your dream job?
Mine was being a car designer, specifically in modena italy. I would often get lost in my thoughts about designing a car which would be my expression of beauty.
But now, im just trying to survive day by day. And perhaps even get a technical degree which is more practical.
I have ambitions still. Trying to build something on the side.
But tbh, my current job is so exhausting because it is so stressful and not fulfilling in the slightest that I come home drained.
Physically I am not drained, butentally I am. Not that it requires big braiins, but the fact that therd is no organization in this company and I all of a sudden got transfered to work on completely foreign machines. I know next to nothing about them, and have to somehow figure shit out.
But in reallity I have totally different interests, which I was never allowed to cultivate.
My father always put me down and demotivated me, telling me how working as a translater is a pipe dream and you can't make any money with it.
I also wanted to work in IT, mainly with hardware, and when I tried applying for an apprenticeship in that field I was told that I am was too old. Jfl
Mind you I was already 22 or so.
In Germany that is old, yes.
However, in my situation it was surprising that I was even able to gather the courage to start applying for what I really wanted, after everything that I'd gone through.
So I have ended up wageslaving.
However, I have noticed throughout the many years at school and work that nobody is reallly willing to teach you something because you are considered competition.
Even at school it seems like teachers don't really want to properly teach you. Of course there are exceptions, and I've neet some.
I can only recommend to german brocels that if you want to learn valuable skills which you can make money with, you have to do it yoourself. You have to study and practice yourself.
And since you will need some tools for whatever it is that you want to learn, you will need money.
So there is no way around wageslaving to get there, UNLESS you have some rich relative willing tto give you free shekels.
