Sugar contains no micro/marco nutrients
You seem to be asserting "good for you" has only to do with nutrition, yet ironically one of your arguments before had to do with mental health
Spending your time jerking off to porn (basically another dude fkin foids) or watching mindless crap is actually detrimental to your mental health, according to several studies.
Do you think pleasure and physical satisfaction has nothing to do with mental health?
Maybe food tasting good (and things "feeling good") is part of mental health, maybe that satisfaction is connected to mental stability, good tasting food definitely helps me "cope" with my life in some sense, nothing is more refreshing from a stressful day than a good tasting meal, makes all the rage and depression just flood out of your body, especially when combined with entertainment, all these things are
cathartic
Where do you draw the line then? What is excessive ?
Whether it depreciates your health or physical capability to the point of lowering your chances of survival in flight or fight situations and/or can possibly kill you
This is why I don't drink or smoke, and I don't eat fatty foods in excess, but I won't avoid fatty food because eating fats is part of what we've always done, sucking down smoke into your lungs and consuming substances that fuck with your liver isn't, no need to chase external dopamine rushes when I have access to internal ones that can be stimulated with food and sexual acts (things we always did)
Things like fasting, etc (which completely go against instincts) have shown to increase life span
Do you realize that all your arguments about not following your instincts ironically
ARE JUSTIFIED WITH INSTINCTUAL REASONING
"You need to make choices that benefit your genetics"
"You have to do things that increase your life span"
Like come on dude, its like you aren't even trying to be self aware
Everything we do comes back to following our instincts, our biological drives, if we weren't doing things based on that, we wouldn't be doing anything at all
What you are arguing is like saying a program should disassociate itself from its code, from the functions that determine its actions, if a program does that,
THEN IT DOESN'T DO ANYTHING
Everything we do revolves around our programming
Now either way I'm tired of arguing this because it doesn't make any sense, its like arguing whether 1+1=2, literally everything we do is connected to our biological drives in some sense, and all your arguments about ignoring these drives
ARE IRONICALLY ROOTED IN REASONING'S RELATED TO THESE DRIVES (which I already pointed out)
If you aren't self aware enough to realize how contradictory these arguments are, I'm wasting my time anyways
Enjoy "increasing your lifespan" and doing things that "benefit your genetics"
WHILE AT THE SAME TIME TELLING YOURSELF YOU AREN'T BEING DRIVEN BY YOUR INSTINCTS (smh)
(Its ridiculous, its like you can't even hear yourself)
