Goes both ways. But, as a general rule, when a guy does this, even if he's still a major POS, he is always at least clear he doesnt want anything like that, and NEVER embarasses the other person for it OR tries to get every leverage he can from the situation, even if it was the easiest low hanging fruit he could snatch ever.

Foids, on the other hand... will do ANYTHING to exploit that situation. Especially get free validation from the simp at hand. The bigger the quantity of simps at hand, the more she's at total ease.
