I am attempting to 100 percent Yakuza 0 but have now given up, I cannot for the life of me play the disco minigame because of my reaction time, once again my inferior genetics prevent me from doing something.

Then again it is a very hard game to 100 percent, maybe other games are easy but just take long? I assume GTA 5 would be an easy one, you get like 60 percent completion just from beating the story.

I WILL 100 percent a game or get all of its achievements, I must feel accomplished at something.

Depends on the game. Getting 100% on e.g. Lego games or South Park games wasnt hard for me, but getting 100% on open world games like GTA 5 is really a pain in the ass and not worth the effort

True, I did enjoy Yakuza 0 and thought 100 percent would be fun, but its just torturous, I should find a game to 100 percent that is fun but not hell.

Yakuza games have loads of side activites so doing them 100% is gonna be a pain ngl. I have only played yakuza 0 and had a blast playing it. The property management and the other foid management thing was really fun on its own. I couldn't do that disco thing either. That thing IS really hard. So i gave up as well. Trying to do everything in the games, beating every enemy, collecting and reading every material, mastering the game mechanics to a satisfying degree etc. is the most satisfying way for me to play the games. I probably have never completed a game to the 100% point but i try to do as much i can force myself to. And this way of playing the game is probably the reason i can play these games in the first place and not drop the game in 10 minutes cuz of boredom. Idk how but i somehow fool my brain to enjoy playing video games which i should be too bored to play otherwise.

Same. I honestly don't have enough free time to 100% games. Especially the Rockstar games like Bully and GTA IV can get ridiculous and tedious to 100% unless you just have a shit load of free time.

I have all the free time I could ask for and it still feels tedious as fuck at times.

I’ve been trying to platinum MW2 on and off for the last 5 years now cuz I’ve been lazy with it and keep quitting. I banged out the last 10 or so achievements recently and there’s only 2 left now.

IMO time isnt the issue most of the time for not being able to 100% a game, but difficulty or repetitivesness/lack of replayability

Celeste is actually one of the only games that I know of, which it is actually difficult to 100% it. All other games, like say Yakuza, just takes infinity time, not skill.
