The knowledge of an incel life is bad because of the brain reaction when the bitter memories spring to mind. I'd like to have the memories, but without the emotional part.

I disagree. I believe identity lies with consciousness fundamentally. If I consciously experience something that's me. We don't use all our memories all the time, and our memories degrade over time. Therefore, I think it's fallible to identify with memory as the core of your identity. Your consciousness doesn't cease if you lose your memories in an accident.

Consciousness is what I experience. So long as I experience the consciousness, it's me. I don't have reason to believe souls or anything supernatural exist. In the scenario of a new body and brain, so long as I experience said consciousness, I'd consider it me.
