Unfortunately, no records or remnants of the barn house remained, not even the foundation, as the SS bombed it before the war ended.

He was sent to Auschwitz for extermination, and do to him not knowing any German, he couldn't understand what the signs said but he heard the screams from the ovens and assumed he was being sent to the gas chambers, but due to a twist of fate, he was for some reason saved for labour and survived the war.
