I think these days if a game has a straightforward male protagonist then it's probably OK

I used to avoid all games with female protagonists because a) I was tired of it and b) they're usually woke.

But I think at this point... if the main character is male and there's nothing obviously subversive about him... probably it's alright.

Just a theory!

I'd think it probably applies to other entertainment too like movies.
