I personally think that parties, events, going out to eat is all somewhat pointless anyways, just consumer activities that may create memories I agree but memories are just a figment of your imagination.

Things like getting a house getting a car I think is worthless and adds nothing to your life, and I feel like it’s peer pressure that causes people to pursue these things, or their life sucks..
