My scalp is constantly so itchy, and white flakes always fall out of it onto my clothes. And these aren't small white flakes they're huge ones so they're quite noticeable. My scalp feels so uncomfortable.

Should I shave my hair off?

I've had it since I was a kid. The itchiness goes away after 3 days if you shower with anti-dandruff shampoo everyday but then you have to keep showering everyday for the itchiness to stay away. The itchiness comes for me in flares that last for months at a time. Usually, the winter months because of the cold air drying my scalp and the for the rest of the year it's not itchy. Join the club, I can’t run my fingers in my hair without causing a snowstorm. I have know idea what I have, my scalp is not itchy at all and the flakes are white and tiny. As long as I don’t touch my hair, the flakes won’t emerge. Keep the hair, being bald is worse.

Most likely some type of psoriasis I have, my scalp flares up really bad very easily and becomes so irritated. When it's irritated I get these big flakes that when I even take off some they cause my scalp to bleed.

use nizoral (ketaconazole shampoo) 2x a week
also use head and shoulders (zinc pyrthione shampoo) 5x a week

thats how i got rid of mine. But u have to stick to it to keep it away.
