Its really hard to function like that.

It's being the black sheep. It doesn't matter if you're contributing anything intelligent at all because you have a label.

I'm not sure if you should try to change their minds / school them to deflate their narcissism. Maybe to make an example to the people around them, narcissists are hard to change.
