A lot of poland immigration is due to poland immigrants (roughly 2 million) emigrating to western europe for better jobs which created labor shortages so Poland was forced by this economic reality to open its borders to immigrants despite previously having a uniformed unmixed society. Of course it is a reality that countries tried to invade others my issue is that african and asian countries still experience western imperialism for example killing democratically elected leaders and planting their own western backed leaders which lead to problems within said country furthering the issue of corruption which makes it difficult to want to further their own countries if it was easier to further your own country than to immigrate to a different country for different quality of life people would stay in their own countries.
