I think Windows XP was a bad operating system and Windows Vista was better. Reinstalling XP was a nightmare because it didn't have any drivers by defapt, it was difficult to get the internet connection going and all the other essential things.

Vista worked out of the box. The only reason people had issues with it is because they had old machines, and Visa had higher system requirements. But Vista looked modern, it was ahead of its time. Vista walked so Windows 7 could run!

The Vista widgets were also cool. I always had the clock, calendar and weather widgets enabled.

I am a nostalgiacel, but some old things are bad. I dislike Windows XP, I'm glad it's gone.

You are probably not wrong. The reason why XP remains my favorite is due to a combination of nostalgia and the fact that I prefer the UI over the later versions. (Also no bloatware) In terms of pure usability, 7 was the more streamlined one.
