“coding bootcamps” are a scam that capitalize off of the learn to code movement and the idea software engineering is easy and high paying.

There are countless “tech” influencers that sell courses on how to get a six figure coding job with no experience

There are tons of females that make “day in the life as a tech worker” videos where they do nothing all day but somehow make $300,000.

Females also love to post videos of them working remote while they are vacation. This gives off the impression software development is an easy job where you can travel the world 24/7

There is a concerningly large amount of normies and females that cheat through their interview then use ChatGPT or some other AI to do their job for them.

At this point I really do hope AI replaces software engineers. Only the top 10% high iq nerds will remain, which will effectively get rid of all this nonsense.
