Middle school was also when I lost all my friends. I had 10 friends in elementary school, or so I thought, but at the start of middle school none were my friends anymore.

But looking back I was never close friends with any of them, and they probably didn’t really consider me a friend.

One time we played hide and seek at one of their birthday parties, and they forgot I was even playing and just moved onto other activities without me.

So even though I had more social interaction in elementary school, it still wasn’t that genuine even back then.
