I don't understand why people buy cars without knowing how to get out of them in the event of an accident/emergency

I mean... I first heard about this issue with electric cars (or at least many of them) I think about 5 years ago. So... it just really amazes me that even now after so many years of this being basically plastered everywhere, someone can still buy an electric car, not understand how to escape from them in an emergency, and then die.

I feel most bad for the kids of course as they're too young to think of these things. The father really should have done his research IMHO.

Also wow so... if the handles are electric... it means quite possibly all the inside and outside handles become inoperable.

So you're reliant on tiny little hidden emergency releases for the doors that you may or may not even know where they are.

It's obviously a bad design IMO. But also... the easiest solution is to just not buy the car, or if you do buy the car then know very well where those releases are.

Definitely these companies should change this though.

all these giga computerized cars are death traps, but especially the electric ones

you also can't have any trust at all in the studies on the health effects of riding in an electric car (muh magnetic fields)
