I am not unreal engine is a tool if a game runs bad then I don't buy and wait for a good discount since the game company is responsible for it

UE4 is horrendous and UE5 is even worse. Unreal engine games always ran like trash, these indie devs should just use unity since it doesn't run like dogshit.

Yeah I'm tired of it too.

I almost get bewildered when companies are still using it now because it is getting this reputation as being used for endless samey asset flips, which I would definitely see as a problem if I was high up at Epic!

Engines like Unreal and CryEngine used to say "premium" but I really don't think Unreal does anymore.

UE ended at UE3 and haven't recovered since. UE1-3 were such amazing engines and then broke something everything become heavy and started stuttering constantly. And with UE5 those issues become 100000x worse. If you don't have high end gpu you can't run them.
