I remember seeing the miniseries "I, Claudius" as a kid. I have a fondness for it. I'm rewatching it since I have it on DVD. I wonder what sort of objections would be raised if something like that were made or even shown today. It portrays many women as manipulative vipers. Quite refreshing.
Made way back in 1976 it is probably too slow paced for younger generations.
