I was talking about the fact that the two of the male characters were from anime, and probably not representative of masculinity, as they have personality traits or traits which go into conflict with their nature. If I wanted to pick for masculine characters, I would not pick an medium catering to cuteness/feminity/visual aesthestics.

Because what is charisma, how does that embody masculinity, what obtaining something you didn't work for or achieve. How is that masculine in that sense.
