CS 1.6 should be fine though. I used to have a 2017 ThinkPad with a non-functional GPU and even that could run 1.6 fine.

Ngl, last time I've played it online the community there was very strange. I did not really feel welcomed and since I was such a newb, I could notice how they sighed every time I fucked up. Most of them very very proficient at the game.
Most took it too seriousely, imo.
Lots of older folks though who are in their fourties, iirc.
It was a german community server though.
Zombie mode is the best imo.

Nah, I don't like killing Germans. I prefer Battlefield 2 so I can kill Amerimutts and Russkis.
You can kill them in BF1942 too.
But only if you play as a German.
Iirc, sometimes you are forced to play as an All-lie.
I don't have access to any private networks, so the public Wi-Fi that I use blocks all torrent sites
