DSP gaming get's far too much hate, It's just autist shaming.
Chris is a difficult character to play as for first time players since he needs locks to open doors which leads to backtracking & running around the mansion.
The first resident movie was so hot I remeberm watching it when I was a kid and I wanted to fuck that girl so hard man
but the game was nice too I played it on playstation for like 3 hours in a friends house he was rich and only person with gaystation in the neighberhood.
But later we fight so he dont let me play ever again so I just did the first mission whe you are in some street and need to run into some building and some puzzles

Once you memorize where all the keys are it's not that hard. Chris can take far more damage than Jill & has a higher headshot chance. The grenades too are superior to batteries.

You can't discard items unless they become totally useless.
Bump just beat Chris campaign in under a week while working a part time job

Great game. I actually really dig the fixed camera and tank controls. I wish the other remakes were made in that style.
They planned on it. There are leaked segments of the re2 remake with fixed camera positions, but it got scrapped early on.
Same but it would have put off causals had 2 & 3 been remade the same way.
2 & 3 should have been remade around the late 2000s with tank controls & fixed camera's.

Although the gameplay is FPS it's still a fun retelling of Resident Evil 2.
