I am new here, I guess I have accepted reality and I will always be alone, my question I guess is can you still be happy and not depressed all the time? If so what do you do to stop yourself from going into a cycle of depression and hating yourself?

Find some good Copes bro, they will help you a bit. What are your copes btw ?

Postmaxx.
also, welcome btwbtw, how much did you lurk before you joined?

Basically, you need a reason to get up in the morning. Depression manifests in everyone differently so I can't tell you when or how you'll get over it, but I think you need a thing to be happy about.

Thanks guys, so far I mainly just go fishing, play video games and watch alot of movies. It is not the best but it keeps me busy and slightly happy.

Find some more things you like and focus on them. Also post here and read all the threads even older ones, it helps.

Vandalism

Anime, video games and pornhub.

Mostly by keeping yourself occupied as much as you can. Doing things you like, and at least some that involve other people. There are tons of high quality copes out there, but most of them expire eventually and need to be replaced with new ones. Try lucid dreaming if you can, it took me 8 years to exhaust it as a cope (in the sense that the novelty wore off and I got used to it)

PM me your pics for surgery advice and cope by saving up money on surgeries, and meanwhile, you could browse and post on this forum.
