How many of you use discord to talk with random people online you met in games?

I’m truecel to the bone, but I met some people on a Minecraft server and they added me on discord to vc. They are pretty cool except for frequent normie discussions of dating/exes, which is indeed rage fuel but I just focus on the game during those parts and go quiet . They have shared their pics and stuff, but I haven’t even shared anything about myself and never will. It feels weird but it’s oddly a good cope.

It’s like having socialization without ever having to go outside and you can catfish too to portray yourself however you want.

I used to use Discord when I was a kid (I was also a mod once JFL), but I grew out of it since my favorite Discord servers outcasted me. Also, the discord servers I was outcast that hurt me the most were the ones with "friends" I knew irl.

I only talk about the game and it’s fun to go into the nether or caves together. Though by now the server has died out and I once again have no one to play with. Had I not been truecel and shared more about myself including how I look, perhaps they would have stuck around or even befriended me.
