In grade 9-10 I had a habit of making steam come out of my mouth. I would cluck my tongue on the roof of my mouth, then blow out my cheeks, then blow steam out and do tricks.
It eventually became second nature and I would do it at all times of the day without even thinking. I did it so often that my cheek lining started peeling off due to all the pressurising. Before this I used to have relatively tight skin around my cheeks, but after a year or two of doing this 100+ times per day the skin started having some slack to account for all the blowing/pressurising. I would rub my tongue on the walls of my mouth and I could peel off an incredible amount of flesh.
This is what happened to me:
My cheeks have improved slightly since I have stopped, but the constant expansion of my skin has left me with folds on my face from my eyes down to the bottom of my cheek, as well as enlarged skin around my cheeks. For the rest of my life it's always probably going to be evident.
My parents also both have genetically tight skin around their, cheeks, so I should too - but now I don't.
