How do you get rid of the completionist urge?

I always try to 100% games
I guess I never had any achievements in life so I fixate on virtual 100% started with lego games.
I get the 100% and then realize I didn't enjoy the game or get the 100% burnt me out on the game

Just give yourself other things to focus on tbh.

Personally I like to 60% games at the very least, I want as much achievements as I can without having to blow too much time, because 100%ing games usually is a massive chore that I have no time for.

Yea I give up usually but I still feel deflated. Not quite as satisfied.

I don't think I've ever had it tbh.

I do have 100% on some games but only ones that are very easy to get it in.

Maybe the real solution is to try to excel more in the real world? Develop an in-demand skill or something.

I 200% then 240% BAK I got it on XBox and then PC lol.
I just don't get the same satisfaction when I don't get 100%
I use steam achievement manager to 100% shit sometimes it doesn't give me the same satisfaction but it does help me get rid of the urge

I'm not sure, I never bothered going for a full 100% completionism. Generally I'm too burnt out of the game to even consider it. Only game I've tried going 100% is Crash 4.

I am clinically addicted to gaming I was dependent on it since I was a kid so I hope I never burn out from it
