This isn’t a debate thread, if you have anything to say about muh heaven, muh hell, muh karma and whatever bullshit exists out there, then this thread is not for you.

Anyways, Ive accepted oblivion as the afterlife since I was a young teenager, as I get older though and in all honesty as I get closer to the rope, Ive started getting these extreme feelings of horror. It’s not only because I’m never going to see my loved ones ever again, but also because I’m never going to get “justice”, when I was a child I imagined life to be beautiful, I had hopes and aspirations about the future and now I feel that as if I was cheated, cheated out of a good luck due to things I had no control over. The pain doesn’t end there though, seeing all these people who are living better than me, simply because they were lucky, fills me with immeasurable spite but there’s nothing I can do.

So to all philosophycels and whatnot how do I get over these feelings and simply accept that there’s nothing I can do. How do I accept that what’s going to meet me the moment my brain (fully) dies, is nothingness.

Sorry for the wall of text and the grammar mistakes, I just wanted to release these feelings.

I just don’t wanna die knowing that all this pain and misery i went through was for nothing and that Im never going to experience happiness ever again.

If you do ever die it's not like you'll be actually be present to experience nothing. Not even Christians think there's an afterlife.

I understand that, how do I accept that this is my fate though? That I will always live in despair until the day I die? And even when I die I wont be able to experience happiness because simply put I won’t be able to experience anything?

I’m very sorry, man. I also wonder about this very often.

A few cases of an afterlife sound somewhat convincing: Shanti Devi reincarnation case ans Pam Reynolds near death experience

I just hope there’s something as I will likely end my life in the near future. I have lifelong brain problems. My entire life has felt like being in a jail cell. Soon nothing will bother me anymore

What I try to do is think that it will be the end of my suffering. Like finally getting to sit down after a hard day.

Shanti Devi reincarnation
If the only alternative to oblivion is reincarnation, then I’d take oblivion any day. I’d be ok with incarnation though.

Pam Reynolds near death experience
NDE’s are not to be trusted imo, when the brain realises that it’s about die it pumps itself with neurochemicals, so that could (at least imo) explain why ndes happen and why everyone’s experiences with them are so different. What Im asking is what happens after the brain dies although I also wish there was something more.

I just don’t want to die knowing that all that suffering was for nothing, that Im never going to experience happiness again. All those lucky people are going to have the same end as me yes but I’m going to die alone full of despair while they’re going to have a better ending than me. It’s all so unfair

I see oblivion as me going back to the real womb.

I was never safe in my mother's womb. She smoked. She had a shitty abusive husband that she always returned to, despite how much he hurt her. She ate like shit. It was due to her womb that I exist, and that I'm having such an awful experience.

Ironically, knowing that I'm gonna die one day is one of my recent motivators, and it became my main subconscious motivator. It means that, no matter how much I suffer, there will be an end to it. I have since cancelled plans to get further in my career and so on.

My conscious motivator is fully exposing society's rot. I've been lied into studying and working my life away, but the silver lining is that now I can tell youngcels (and whoever cares to read my posts) about the lies, and perhaps they can avoid some of the humiliating situations I've faced.

Perhaps you could use oblivion as your subconscious motivator. However, having an additional conscious motivator helps you actually get through the day. You'd have to find out what that is, because it may vary from person to person.

i have no problem with nothingness afterlife. it's just like before u are born.
realize that there is no cosmic justice. if u have unfinished business try to solve it while u are alive. take revenge or fulfill ur wishes.
dont expect god or whatever to do it for u. even if u can't do it, dont panic or be angry.
