I see normies coping about 1984 and how everyone will be microchipped soon. I used to think this a bit too but I am starting to think maybe it's for the best. If there's a chance some technological upgrade to my brain can make me "normal" and accepted, I'd do it.
Life is all about control anyway, and I'm never going to have more power and influence than Bill Gates or Elon Musk.
I can only imagine the bliss normal people feel when they can simply interact with the world as an NPC without being laughed at and told they are "weird". I would know exactly which buzzwords to use when to be accepted by the hivemind, which is ultimately all that matters in life anyway.
