Discussion How active/how much did you expect to post when you first signed up to .is?

Honestly when I first signed up I only expected to make it to bluecel max and to only be active for a couple months before getting burnt out and moving on but clearly that hasn't happened. I've never been this active in any online community before or really I've never been active in any online community at all so it's surprising things ended up like this. Not sure if that's a good or bad thing, sometimes I like posting here other times I just do it out of habit and wish I could leave and move on to something else.

i got a bit nervous so that’s on me. was excited to post much more at first but that wore off as i got a big feel for the vibe. contributing to threads here and there where i see fit and when i can is pretty “chill” i’d say. if i see other users add to OP i try not to redundantly add on with a similar scrub sentiment as well. not trying to sound weird but often times since i do notice it i don’t care about the double edged “conventionally optimized” structure here, i just try to contribute if i want and expressing what i feel is right in that moment. and ngl, i don’t read drama threads

Quite frankly, i already knew back then that i'll stay here for a longer period that i wanted to admit, but keep in mind the fact i was only 16 at that time and still harbored some hope for the future. Currently i'm almost 20 years old and absolutely nothing has changed, as i didn't gain a single inch in height since then and didn't expierence what late bloomers call "glow up".
