Yes, most likely any car you were in has fuel injection. Fuel injection is more reliable and offers more perfect combustion, but carburetors are simpler. Most people wouldn’t even be able to get a vehicle with a basic carburetor started. I had a heck of a time getting my old tractor started in the cold today. Had to give it choke for a while while it cranked over.This is what happens when someone like me has below 85 IQ. I'm just at a loss for whatever you're talking about. Although, I did just look into now and read a little about how it's been replaced primarily by fuel injection now.
This tractor is old as fuck, and has points still. So no electronic ignition like modern cars.
