Theory Have you ever noticed how quickly people's bad behaviour changes the second you threaten involving law enforcement?

I first noticed this with housemates. Some housemates can be very aggressive and... 90% of the time when pushed to a limit if I said "I'll call the cops if you keep going" they stopped 100%. lol

Because... typically if I'm driven to say something like that, it's because they've really been overstepping the mark, and they know that which is why they immediately back down!

I had it again recently. Someone wasn't doing right by me and I said something like "You realise what you're doing is criminal, right?" and immediately they're communicating, saying they'll do it ASAP, etc.

It's very effective!

It's honestly like holding up a cross to a vampire. It's bizarre.

Like I say it super calmly and the reaction is so huge. They change behaviour IMMEDIATELY. It's wild.

90% of the time anyway.
