I went to my doctor yesterday because of a medical issue I'm having, but I made him test all of my hormones. I'm hoping to get some cortisol blockers as I'm always fucking stressed.
Serious Have any of you gone to the doctor to see if there's anything wrong with you that has caused you to be in this situation?
My parents forced me to go to the doctor and they diagnosed me with Asperger's. There's no cure.

Yes, I went to the doctor for a full medical check up at 18. They couldn't understand why I was so lethargic, socially awkward and socially behind my peers. He went through a list of diagnostics and tests including bloodwork, CAT scan, physical, MRI and even a biopsy. At the end of it all, the doctor said the answer was quite simple. Probably said that but my parents were poor as fuck before, jfl at having 3 kids and living in a shit home in a shit neighbourhood. Most clothes were hand me downs from neighbours and relatives too.
WTF how many dads care about or even see their kids dicks when their kid is in middle school?

Yup, everything always comes back normal, but I'm not surprised since they're incompetent. Last thing I went to get checked was mouth breathing and sleep apnea. I basically said that my jaw was the issue, but they weren't having it, instead they stuck a camera down my nose, said my nose was fine, and that I shouldn't believe stuff I read online about medicine. Fucking incompetent socialized medicine, it feels like I know more about the issue than my doctor.
