Which gore games should I play?
Most modern games have almost no gore

based for soldier of fortune. I played long ago but got physically sick for some reason and never finished it. Postal 2 is also great.

God of war 1, 2 and 3. The new doom games are pretty brutal, mortal combat X and 11 mostly for the xray moves and finishers and the darkness 1 and 2 are pretty slept on imo. Sniper elite games can be satisfying if you're into brutal gunshot gore.

I would person suggest the God of War trilogy along with pretty much any Doom game.
