A new game coming out is GrAY Zone Warfare which is trying to be realistic as possible with the bullets even hiring that Johnathan Ferguson guy from Royal Armouries.

Operation Flashpoint Dragon Rising, Operation Flashpoint Red River, Rainbow Six Vegas 1 and 2, Ghost Recon 2, Ghost Recon Summit Strike, Ghost Recon Advanced Warfighter 1 and 2, Brothers in Arms: Hells Highway, Brothers in Arms: Road to Hill 30, SOCOM Navy Seals 1 to 3, and Conflict Desert Storm.
Arma 3, Swat 4 (HEAVY ON SWAT 4, PEAK GAME), Six Days in Fallujah is solid, theres also this DOOM mod thats really fun called hideous destructor which is also pretty fun.
Ready or Not is a pretty good swat sim
SQUAD is definitely number 1. RO2 when it was still active, I think Rising Storm Vietnam will have a mod encompassing all the previous games and more.

Squad has everything, there's a lot of stuff in the game.
Gunplay is pretty good too and the vehicles like IFV, Tanks and trucks.
Gotta love playing the VDV and just rushing in with BMDs.

insurgency is not milsim but it is a very fun game, it is one of the few games i still play from time to time
Me too i got like 500 hours in the game. I downloaded it like 4 years ago when it was free on epic.
battlefield is an arcade shooter
