I learned these games were very well liked and recommended:

• Shovel Knight on 3ds (“snes graphics”)
• Fire emblem three houses
• Silent Hill 2

Many people think Smash 4 was the worst entry in the series, even though custom moves alone make it extremely replays less. People seem to forget what makes ultimate superior is utilizing groundwork of what made smash 4 successful.

Hyrule Warriors seems to be fan service for zelda fans who are already familiar with multiple games. The same way how a booth at an anime convention are only appreciated by those who were into the series being represented.

People really liked Mario Kart 8 before the switch version came out (the same way people think of smash 4 vs smash ultimate).

There has always been a constant stream of pure drones glazing ocarina of time

Shovel Knight is incredibly overrated. There's nothing special about it. Just a typical indie game jumbling a bunch of mechanics from old games together in hopes that their game will be fun.
