Disclaimer: on this list I will only be listing 1 game from each franchise and I don't play multiplayer games so that's why there is none
1. DOOM (2016)
One of the first real games I played and have played it so much since. Better than eternal by a mile by game design
2. Persona 4 golden
I knew I liked jrpgs but this made me love them people on this forum hate on persona but it's one of my favourite franchises
3. Yo-Kai watch 2
Playing this on my 3ds was life changing can't replicate playing this at a restaurant waiting for a meal to come when I was like 11 I have far to many hours on this game
4. darks souls
I'm only talking about the first one I don't like the others for some reason I love all the areas and the bosses I thought I was all amazing
5. Titanfall 2
My favourite fps I never even played the online but I spent so long on the time trails and playing the story over and over
6. Pokemon moon/ultra moon
the last good Pokemon game this game had everything from mega to every legendary and the games had nice setting and cool Pokemon and battle tree I just had to put a Pokemon game on
7. Skyrim
When I first got this game I played for an entire month 18 hours a day I don't even know where the time went everyone knows why this game is good already though
8. Halo combat evolved
The first one is the best in my opinion 2 and 3 probably have better story but I like the premise and start build up from combat evolved much more
9. Catherine
I didn't think I'd like this game as much as I did as I'm thick as bricks and have to use a guide for everything so a puzzle game was the opposite to what I thought I would be good at but I ended up really liking the story and all the text made the world feel alive
10. Batman Arkham knight
I have so much nostalgia from this game just speeding and gliding I remember this being my favourite when I was younger even when I hadn't had played the games that game before it
HONOURABLE MENTIONS
Neon white-almost made it onto this list but due to its short story and some weak characters I couldn't justify it beating Batman even though the gameplay is amazing
Breathe of the wild-I just like this game when I was younger hate tears of the kingdom but I didn't like it enough to put it on there
Terraria- i am not including mods but if I was this game would be up there
Super smash bros ultimate-unfortunately I have 1000s of hours on this game from playing online and I still wasn't good at it just thought it needed included for that fact
