Games that aren't actually games

I recently played death stranding and was gonna make a thread to rant about it, but I realize my main beef with it is because I don't consider it a game and it was just too boring that my brain doesn't give me dopamine

So I might as well lump this post to rant about all the other shit that I don't call games

Tell tale games, funny as fuck for being a story driven game as I'm told 95% of choices doesn't matter in it

Walking simulators, as far as I know the first one that got traction was Stanley parable and it was just a manifesto shitpost, then came stuff like fire watch and abzu which are more like tech demos than anything

Then we come to death stranding, now this may get a pass on first look, but anyone whos played it knows its biggest sin: its empty as fuck and you'd wish the game runs at 4x speed, kojima should just have become a movie director honestly

Most of those are supposedly critically acclaimed as well, is it just more libtard propaganda to be "edgy" and "different"?

Honestly your supposed to take your time with it so the first BT encounter makes you shit yourself. That game does build up and reward you for the effort. Kojima actually made a decent game for once because fuck whatever mgs5 tried to be.

kojima DESPERATELY needs to stop scanning blown out hollywood hoes and chads and start putting the fucking mgs in the bag. vile way for a franchise to go out with mgsv.

personally id put the new god of wars in this category too. i couldnt get through the first 2 hours of them i really didnt like them.
